Government is supposed to be of the people, by the people, for the people.

Since when are corporations people?
So you mortgage away your life to have a house built, and the building contractors do shoddy work, skimp on the materials so that they do not meet safety specifications and somewhere, somehow, you are supposed to fight to get the work fixed.
In that sort of legislative framework, I'd build the house myself.
